Abstract
— Observations on the effects of chlorprothixene on thirty-nine dogs attended in practice are reported. The use of the drug as a sedative, narcotic and premedicant is discussed and the opinion is expressed that it is a useful improvement in its field. A notable feature is the marked potentiation of general anaesthesia with very smooth induction and recovery.
