Abstract
Objective To make an animal experimental observation of antipyretic and analgesic effects of N ORPIN - A .Methods The antipyretic and analgesic effects of NORPIN - A were observed in rabbit models with increased temperature which had been caused by intravenously injecting typhoid, paratyphoid and vaccinum and in mice models with twist reaction which had been caused by intraperitoneally injecting arctic acid. Results NORPIN - A could significantly bring down the rise in temperature in the experimental rabbits; and high or medium dose of NORPIN - A had an alangesic effect on the pain caused by chemical stimuli like acetic acid and reduced the frequency of twist reaction in the experimental mice, and latent period of pain prolonged and pain threshold improved. But NORPIA - A was not effective for the pain due to hot board. Conclusion NORPIN - A is a kind of compound preparation of antipyretic and analgesic effects.
NORPIN - A effectively reduces fever and reduces pain caused by chemical stimuli, but not hot board pain.
