Clinical Therapy of Facial Sensitive-Skin After Rejuvenation and Resurfacing

Abstract
Objective To investigate therapy of facial sensitive-skin after rejuvenation and resurfacing.Methods 200 patients were divided into four groups randomly.Group A was treated with moisturizer only,twice a day;group B was treated with topical moisturizers twice a day and oral loratadine tablets 10 mg a day;group C was treated with loratadine tablets 10 mg a day,humectant twice daily plus pimecrolimus cream once daily;group D was treated with loratadine tablets 10 mg a day,humectant twice daily,pimecrolimus cream once daily plus local cold compress with purslane.All patients were treated for four weeks,and then they were valuated for sings and symptoms.Results In four groups,the highest mean scores of each symptom were D,the second was C,the third was B and the last was A(P 0.005).The curative effect rate of each groups was 46.34%,55.81%,77.27% and 91.49%,respectively(P 0.005).Conclusion The key of therapy in facial dermatitis is the using of moisturizer,purslane(cold compress) combine with pimecrolimus cream and antihistaminics.It could apparently improve recovery rate and compliance of patients.
Moisturizer, purslane (cold compress) combined with pimecrolimus cream and antihistaminics effectively treat facial dermatitis after rejuvenation and resurfacing, improving recovery rate and patient compliance.
