Abstract
In 28 of 29 cases of nausea and vomiting, triflupromazine proved superior as an antiemetic agent to chlorpromazine or dimen-hydrinate. Vomiting was due to drug toxicity in 15 cases, nitrogen mustard being the principal causative agent; other immediate causes of vomiting included jaundice, cerebellar metastases, migraine, radiation sickness and gastritis. It appears that triflepromazine is a highly effective agent in the elimination and prevention of nausea and vomiting.
