Another deep philosophical problem. My opinion: I know that I feel emotions — I can feel them. Other humans claim to feel emotions similar to mine, and appear to act in emotions ways similar to what I would do. I am inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt. It’s possible to make an AI system, or even a simple “chatbot” claim and appear to feel similar emotions in similar circumstances. We may or may not want to accept those emotions as genuine.
