About the Fellowship
Fellows help shape the development of Consensus by sharing feedback from their real research workflows. In return, they gain early access to new features, connect with a community of researchers across disciplines, and contribute to the development of tools designed to support rigorous, evidence-based research.
We see fellows as a bridge between the Consensus team and the next generation of researchers exploring how AI can transform literature discovery and synthesis.

What You'll Do
We designed the fellowship to be lightweight and flexible, with participation designed to fit around your research schedule.
Fellows will:
Share Consensus with your lab, collaborators, friends and research community
Participate in a 1-on-1 research workflow interview with the Consensus team to share how you use research tools and help shape future features
Test new Consensus features before public release and provide feedback from your literature review or research workflow
Join occasional virtual roundtables with researchers across disciplines discussing AI in scholarship
Contribute ideas that help shape how AI tools support the next generation of research

What You'll Get
We designed the fellowship to provide real value for early-career researchers.
Fellows receive:
Direct access to the Consensus product team — your feedback directly influences product development
Early access to experimental research features before public release

Who We're Looking For
We're looking for graduate students, PhD candidates, and postdoctoral researchers who already use Consensus as part of their research workflow.
You might be a great fit if you:
Use Consensus to discover or synthesize academic papers
Have used it in a literature review or research project
Often recommend research tools to labmates or peers
Are curious about how AI will shape the future of research
If you've found Consensus useful in your work and want to help shape where it goes next, we'd love to hear from you.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Selected fellows will help shape the future of AI-powered academic discovery while contributing their perspectives as active researchers.
