Abstract
The phenyl and chlorophenyl rings are planar in the title compound, C 16 H 12 ClNO 3 . The structure is stabilized by intermolecular hydrogen bonds involving the OH (donor) groups of the carboxylic acid moieties, the carbonyl O atoms (acceptor) of the carboxylic acid moieties and the Cl atoms (acceptor) of the chlorophenyl groups, together with hydrogen bonds between the amino N atoms (donor) and the carbonyl O atoms (acceptor) of the benzamide moieties.
