Abstract
Summary The light absorption spectrum of an aqueous solution of potassium perrhenate (KReO4) has been measured for various concentrations, in the region between 3134 A and 2210 A. The absorption becomes noticeable at about 3150 A. A strong band is found at 2290 A and a hardly pronounced one at 2390 A. The absorption spectra of the MnO4-ion and the ReO4-ion. are compared with each other.
