Abstract
We have studied the alkaloid composition of the epigeal part of H. pusillus collected on the territory of the Tashkent Botanical Garden. Chloroform extraction showed that it contained 0.09% of alkaloids. From the benzene-soluble fraction hyoscine and hyoscyamine were isolated in accordance with their solubilities in various organic solvents [2]. The mother liquors were chromatographed on a column of alumina. Ethereal eluates yielded apohyoscine and hyoscine. Chloroform fractions contained apoatropine and hyoscyamine, while tropine was obtained from chloroform-methanol fractions.
