Abstract
One of the esters of the patented group (N,N-dimethyl-(2-N',N'-dimethylaminomethylpyridyl-3)carbamate dihydrochloride) was resynthesized at the Scientific Research Institute of Military Medicine and studied jointly with the Institute of Toxicology of the Ministry of Health of the USSR; it passed through preliminary clinical testing at the S. M. Kirov Military Medical Academy. The drug form of the new preparation [2] was developed at the Scientific Research Institute for Military Medicine with the participation of the All-Union Chemicopharmaceutical Scientific Research Institute and the Oktyabr'. The preparation has now been approved under the name of "aminostigmine" by the Ministry of Health of the USSR for clinical use (registration No. 84/677/9).
