Abstract
Abstract The autoxidation of ethyl docosahexaenoate was investigated at the isothermal condition. The autoxidation of docosahexaenoic triglyceride was investigated with an oxygen sensor. . The activation energy values of DHAEE with the isothermal reaction method were obtained E a and E 1 of 62.5 kJ/mol and 52.1 kJ/mol. The autoxidation activation energy obtained for the DHA oil was 62 kJ/mol. This value is almost same as that of the activation energy for the autoxidation reaction of DHAEE. . This suggests that the activation energies of oxidation do not depend on the chemical structure of DHA.
