Abstract
Summary N,N-Bis(2-chloroethyl)phosphorodiamidic acid has been isolated from incubations of cyclophosphamide with mouse liver microsomes. The compound was identified by mass spectrometry. N,N-Bis(2-chloroethyl)phosphorodiamidic acid has been synthesized and studied previously by Friedman and was found to be a potent alkylating agent with both in vivo and in vitro antitumor activity. This compound may play a major role in the biological activities of cyclophosphamide.
