Abstract
Abstract The non-stoichiometric strontium ferrite SrFeO3−δ exhibits a variety of equilibrium compositions over a broad range of temperatures and oxygen partial pressures. These two parameters determine its stoichiometry and other properties such as crystal structure. In this note we report, the preparation technique that allows us to produce large quantities of material of desired stoichiometry required by some characterisation techniques such as neutron powder diffraction.
