Abstract
Abstract High-performance devices can be achieved by lowering the work function of the cathode electrode. Herein, we synthesized polyelectrolyte that has functionality at the side chain, named PFB. In addition, a p-type dopant, NOBF4 (nitrosonium tetrafluoroborate), was used to enhance the performance of the polyelectrolyte. This polyelectrolyte was adapted as an interlayer to improve the performances of polymer solar cells (PSCs). The PSCs based on PFB and NOBF4-PFB demonstrate higher power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 9.41% and 9.51% than pristine PSC using PTB7-Th as a reference (8.7%).
