Abstract
Decomposition of 2-chlorophenol(2-CP) by three-phase fluidized bed packed with γ-Al2O3/SnO2+Sb2O4 as particle electrode was investigated.The effect of pH values and particle electrode on 2-CP removal efficiency were determined.The removal efficiency of 2-CP and TOC reached about 97.0% and 58.9% after 90min under alkaline condition,which was higher than that under acidity or neutral condition.Particle electrode was beneficial to increase the current efficiency.The current efficiency of three-phase fluidized bed was 1.7 times higher than that of the conventional structure with no particle electrode at 15min.The analysis results from LC-MS and IC indicated that C-C double bonds in benzene ring of 2-CP was broken first,and formed some intermediate products,such as 2-Cl-p(o)-hydroquinone,2-Cl-p(o)-benzoquinone,succinic acid,acetic acid,formic acid and so on.
