Abstract
Residue detection and degradation of 25% slurry chlorbenzuron in cabbage and soil were investigated and its residue was determined with high-performance liquid chromatography.A simple method based on small column solid-phase extraction was developed to extract the chlorbenzuron from cabbage and soil, and then determined by high performance liquid chromatography(SPE-HPLC).The recoveries of chlorbenzuron for the spiked samples were in the range of 77.1%~81.6%,and the CVs were 4.3%~9.7%.The results obtained from four groups of cultured experiments showed that the half-life of chlorbenzuron was 4~6 days in cabbage and 15~16 days in the soil.Whereas, the residue in cabbage was 0.38 mg/kg and 0.28 mg/kg in soil after 14 days with a recommended usage of 20 g/mu of 25% slurry chlorbenzuron in the cabbage field.
