Abstract
An efficient method for the determination of 5-Chloromethylfurfural(5-CMF) content by UV spectrophotometer was established.Experimental results showed that in mineral ether / ethyl acetate solution,5-CMF has the maximum absorption wavelength at 275 nm,and that the e max was more than 105L /(mol/cm).The regression equation was y =0.116 5x-0.004 7,the correlation coefficients was 0.999,the average recovery rate of 5-CMF was 99.78% and relative standard deviation(RSD) was 0.45%.The recovery rate,accuracy,precision and linear range(1 ~ 10 mg / L) met the requirements of analysis of trace components by UV spectrophotometer.This analytic procedure provides a simple,rapid and cheap method for 5-CMF content determination.
