Abstract
A capillary gas chromatography method for the determination of benzoyl chloride was developed.The sample was analyzed by gas chromatography(GC) equipped a HP-5(30m×0.32mm×0.25μm) capillary column and a flame ionization detector.The trichloromethane was used as solvent,the undecane was selected as the internal standard substance and internal standard method was employed for the quantification of benzoyl chloride.The calibration curve of benzoyl chloride showed good linear relationship between the peak area ratio(standard substance and internal standard substance) and concentration in the range of 0.25324-0.42285μg/μL,with their correlation coefficient of 0.9999.The average recovery of the method was 99.75% with RSD 1.28%(n=9).
