Abstract
Objective:To study the method for determination of chlorinedioxide in air of workplaces.Methods:The molecular structure of acid violet 43 which was used as chromogenic reagent,could be destroyed by chlorinedioxide.So the purple solution faded and could be colorimetric determination.Results:Linear relationship was showed as chlorinedioxide content of 0 μg~30 μg.The regression formula was y=-0.0161x-0.0062,r=0.9997.The detection limit was 0.2 μg/ml.When the volume of collected air samples were 7.5 L,the minimum detection concentration was 0.16 mg/m3.Conclusion:The method is simply active,selective,high sensitive,and accurate,and can be applied in determining of chlorinedioxide in air of workplaces.
