Abstract
The content of involatile impurities in acetamidine hydrochloride was determined by gravimetric analysis. Two grams of acetamidine hydrochloride was transferred into a crucible whose weight was constant. The acetamidine hydrochloride was carbonized on an electric furnace for one hour, then transferred into a maffle furnace to be heated at 700 ℃ for 1.5 h.The results show that: the ash of acetamidine hydrochloride determined by this method is 0.6‰;the ash increases when the sample of acetamidine hydrochloride contains sodium chloride;and there is a high correlation between the content of sodium chloride and the ash(the correlation coefficient r~2= 0.998).
