Abstract
Praseodymium has been determined titrimetrically by dissolving the precipitate, obtained on boiling praseodymium sulfate and sodium rhodizonate together, in dilute sulfuric acid and tirtrating against a standard eerie sulfate solution using N-phenyl anthranilic acid as indicator. The complex between praseodymium and rhodizonate is formed in the ratio of 4 : 3. Maximum error is 0-4%. The range in which praseodymium has been determined varies from 9 4765 X 10~gm to 37-7838 x 10"gm. Interference by certain metal ions has also been observed.
