Abstract
Objective To study the effect of Erythro-9-(2-hydroxy-3-nonyl) adenine hydrochloride(EHNA) on the antiarrhythmic action of adenosine in rats.Methods Drugs were injected rapidly into rats through vena caudalis.The Ⅱ-leads electrocardiogram(ECG) was recorded and analyzed by BL-420E system.Results Adenosine significantly prolonged the R-R interval to(12±6)s,adenosine combined with EHNA prolonged the R-R interval to(60±13)s.Adenosine reduced ventricular arrhythmia induced by adrenalin and BaCl2 in rats.The recovery time of adenosine in adrenalin-and BaCl2-induced arrhythmic models were(40±11)s and(10±6)s,and adenosine combined with EHNA prolonged the recovery times to(110±17)s and(174±23)s respectively.Conclusion Adenosine combined with EHNA enhance the effect of slowing heart rate and strengthened the antiarrhythmic effect of adenosine.
