Abstract
FoLLowING the observations by Cutts, Beer and Noble' that extracts of the plant Vinca rosea Linn caused leukopenia and marrow depression when injected into rats, a new alkaloid, vincaleukoblastine (vinblasitine sulfate), was isolated."
