Abstract
Abstract Facile and sensitive fluorimetric detection of azinphos ethyl, diazinon, chlorfenviphos and isofenphos using Eu-Bathophenanthroline (Batho) probe. The method is based on the fluorescence change of Eu-(Batho)3 at λem = 616 nm after addition trace amount of pesticides under study. Several experimental frameworks, including pH effect and solvent effect, and low limit detection, were investigated systematically in the detection operations. Optimum detection was obtained in 50% (v/v) acetonitrile-water mixture at pH = 6, with the detection limits for azinphos ethyl, diazinon, chlorfenviphos and isofenphos are 1.80, 1.48, 1.46 and 0.83 μ mol l−1, respectively. KD values were calculated using Lineweaver-Burk and Benesi-Hildebrand equations at different temperatures.
