Abstract
Abstract2-Methyl-5-(p-methoxyphenyl)benzoic acid N-methylamide and N-methyl-N-(2-methyl-4-methoxy-5-trifluoromethylphenyl)-N′-methylurea, labeled with hydrogen isotopes, were prepared. The number of the incorporated deuterium atoms per molecule was 5.4 for 2-methyl-5-(p-methoxyphenyl)benzoic acid N-methylamide and 1.82 for N-(2-methyl-4-methoxy-5-trifluoromethylphenyl)-N′-methylurea. The molar radioactivities of the tritium-labeled forms of these compounds reached 90 and 30 Ci mmol−1, respectively.
