Abstract
Strontium sulfide shows promise for some applications. For instance, the authors note its classical use in dosimeters and cathode-ray tubes. Interest in this material also increases the possibility of its use as an active medium in electroluminescent screens. The present work is devoted to investigation of the defect responsible for luminescence in strontium sulfide activated by cerium.
