Abstract
Leucomycins(LM) are 16-membered macrolide antibiotics with high activity and low toxicity. Biosynthesis of LM was greatly affected by precursor and regulator. The metabolism regulation on fermentation of LM was researched a nd the influence of antibiotic potency on the precursor and regulator was explor ed. Through series of experiments,the results showed that ,the optimum adding t ime was at the beginning of fermentation , and the best concentration of butyrat e and magnesium phosphate is 0.1% and 1% respectively, getting the inspiring pot ency 3.3 and 2.3 times higher than contrast. Thus the utilization of precursor a nd regulator showed great practical value in industrial production.
