Abstract
SUMMARY A method is described for the determination of copper in blood and liver. Copper is estimated directly by means of zinc dibenzyldithiocarbamate after wet digestion. No preliminary separation or addition of buffer solution is required and the method is free from interference by iron. The accuracy as measured by repeated analysis of the same sample is ±2·4 per cent, and the mean recovery of added copper is 97 per cent.
