Abstract
Drugs isolated from different species of strophanthus, Erysimum, Adonis, lily of the valley, Indian hemp, and jute, and containing as their active ingredient cardiac glycosides, whose aglycone is strophanthidin (monosides: cymarine, erysimin, convallatoxin, desglucocheirotoxin, corchoroside; biosides: K-strophanthin-B, erysimoside, convalloside, olitoriside; triosides: K-strophanthoside, glucoolitoriside, glucoconvalloside) are widely used in the practice of medicine [I]. This group of drugs includes both preparations of individual glycosides as well as preparations containing a multicomponent combination of glycosides.
