Abstract
The title compound,2,4-dihydroxyacetophenone,has been designed and microwave synthesized from resorcinol and acetic acid.The structure was determined by 1HNMR,IR and single X-ray crystallography analysis.The title compoud C8H8O3 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with the cell parameters a=0.718 50(14)nm,b=1.377 1(3)nm,c=0.741 30(15)nm,β=91.08(3)°,F(000)=320,Z=4,V=0.733 3(3)nm3,Dc=1.378 g·cm-3,Mr=152.14.R=0.058 6,Rw=0.1579,S=1.016.The largest differences in peak and hole of electron dencity are 262 nm-3 and-277 nm-3.The influence of the ratio of raw materials,reaction time and microwave radiation power on the synthesis has been studied.The optimal synthetic conditions are 15 mmol acetic acid,10 mmol anhydrous zinc chloride,150 W microwave power and 4 min reaction time.
