Abstract
In recent years, soil pollution has been increasingly serious, which might be contributed to the considerable production and abuse of pesticide. The effects of the pesticide pollution on the soil animals have been drawn increasing attention and become a research hotspot currently. In order to evaluate the contamination of insecticide on soil environment, the insecticide monosultap was chosen to construct the exposed experiment using contact filter paper method. The toxic effect, protein content, superoxide dismutase (SOD) and acetylcholine esterase (AChE ) activity of the earthworm Eisenia foetida were studied under two different exposed temperatures. The results revealed that the death rate reached 20 % at 10 ℃,and went up to 30 % at 20 ℃. Along with the increase of the exposed concentration of monosultap, the protein contents of Eisenia foetida at two different temperatures tended to increase to some degree, while the activities of the SOD dropped down. The activities of SOD decreased 32.2 % and 21.2 % at 10 ℃ and 20 ℃,respectively, but the trend was not consistent. ANOVA indicated that the effects of exposed time and concentration on the activity of SOD were significant (P0.01). AChE activity of earthworms was not restrained by mono-pollution of monosultap significantly and resumed with the exposed time. The results suggested that temperature had certain influence on biochemical index of Eisenia foetida,so,the environmental contamination could be biologically monitored and evaluated through comparing the biochemical activity of earthworm under two different temperatures.
