Abstract
Abstract The occurrence of 2,4- and 2,6-dibromophenol in shrimps from the North Atlantic has been established. The content of 2,4-dibromophenol is approximately 40 μg kg −1 peeled shrimps. Occasionally the heads contain 10–20% 2,6-dibromophenol in addition to the 2,4-isomer.
