Abstract
The trimethylolpropane diallyl ether was synthesized by Williamson etherification reaction taking trimethy-lolpropane,sodium hydroxide and allyl chloride as raw materials. The effects of reaction temperature, the mass fraction of NaOH,amount of catalyst and different types of catalysts on the reaction yield were researched. The reaction conditions were optimized by using the response surface method(RSM) with three factors and three levels, and then, the optimal technological condition of trimethylolpropane diallyl ether was obtained. The results show that the highest yield of trimethylolpropane diallyl ether can reach 91.2% when the reaction temperature is 75.2 ℃,the mass fraction of NaOH is 38.5% and the mass fraction of the catalyst is 14.5% of that of trimethylolpropane diallyl ether if the tetrabutylammonium bromide is selected as a catalyst.
