Abstract
Abstract The most satisfactory type of support for routine use in reversed phase paper chromatography of dinitrophenyl (DNP) derivatives of amines has been found to be paraffin-treated paper, which gives good resolution, is relatively easy to prepare and handle, is stable and on which the solvent, a mixture of chloroform, methanol and water, runs reasonably fast. Human urine contains methylamine, dimethylamine, ethylamine, pyrrolidine and piperidine.
