Abstract
Abstract We characterize poly(3-methylthiophene), PMT, photovoltaic devices prepared onto tin oxide substrates covered with sulfonated polyaniline, SPAN. Both, PMT and SPAN are prepared by electrochemical methods. Under monochromatic illumination (λ=580 nm, Iλ=0.8 W m−2) TO/SPAN/PMT/Al devices present power conversion efficiency up to 0.8%. When submitted to white light irradiation (75 W m−2, tungsten halogen lamp) these devices present power conversion efficiency up to 0.1%.
