Abstract
“Criss-cross” cycloaddition polymerization between hexafluoroacetone azine and several diallylic compounds, such as diallyl ethers or diallyldimethylsilane, is described. In one case (with diallyl resorcinol ether) a polymer could be produced which is completely soluble in common organic solvents. The number-average molar mass of this product is Mn = 12000 g/mol. The expected structures of the polymers (or their soluble fractions) are confirmed by spectroscopic methods.
