Abstract
This study provides a more accurate thermodynamic network for isobutane by using a modified version of the nonanalytic equation of state together with new and additional physical-property data such as compressibilities, vapor pressures, and dielectric constants. Included in the results are values for densities, entropies, internal energies, isotherms, and specific heats, tabulated at integral temperatures over the entire range of fluid states from -254/sup 0/ to 800/sup 0/F along isobars at pressures to 10,150 psi. In addition, the report gives equations for ideal gas properties, heats of vaporization, second virial coefficients, and melting pressures.
