Abstract
Abstract Dimethylaminomethyl ferrocene has been reacted with CoBr 2 , CoI 2 , Co(ClO 4 ) 2 .6H 2 O, Co(No 3 ) 2 .6H 2 O and CoSO 4 .7H 2 O in ethanol and in methylene chloride. Salts of the type C 5 H 5 FeC 5 H 4 CH 2 NH + (CH 3 ) 2 X − ( X Br, I, ClO 4 , NO 3 , HSO 4 ) and adducts of the type MX 2 .2 L ( M Co, Ni, Fe; X Cl, Br, I, NCS; L = dimethylaminomethyl ferrocene) are formed in alcohol and methylene dichloride, respectively.
