Abstract
Perfluoro-4-methylpentene-2 [1] , an asymmetrical internal perfluoroolefin, reacted with secondary amines such as diethylamine or piperidine to give a terminal enamine [2], which was easily hydrolyzed to the corresponding amide [3]. The reaction mechanism was discussed.
