Abstract
1. The reaction of sodium acetylide with trialkylstannanol and hexaalkyldistannoxanes has been investigated and it has been shown that reaction takes place through the intermediate stage of the formation of stannanolates. 2. Unlike the stannanols, the trialkystannanolates readily react with trialkylethynylstannanes to form hexaalkyldistannylacetylenes. 3. In the reaction of sodium acetylide with trialkylstannanols, trialkylalkoxystannanes, and hexaalkyl-distannoxanes, the sodium atom at the acetylene bond is more active than the hydrogen atom.
