Abstract
The electroreduction performance and mechanism of 1,5-dinitroanthraquinone in ionic liquid: EMimBF4 are studied by means of polarization curve,cyclic voltammetry and constant potential electrolysis.Experimental results show that the concentration of 1,5-dinitroanthraquinone and of water in EMimBF4 has complicated influence on the peak potential and peak current of cyclic voltagram.Temperatures also have an effect on the peak potential and peak current of cyclic voltagram.The mechanism investigated by cyclic voltammetry and constant-potential electrolysis is one molecule and five steps electrochemical process transfering 12e.The main productis 1,5-diaminoanthraquinone.
