Abstract
Abstract Cyclohexylamine sulfate was administered orally to Wistar rats in doses ranging from 22.26 to 178.08 mg/kg/day. The treatment had no adverse effect on female fertility. However, the male fertility appeared to be impaired in the first of three breeding trials, but this impairment was not evident in the succeeding two of the three trials. No deleterious effect was noted on embryo viability, litter size, litter weight, postnatal viability, weight gain of the pups, or somatic cell chromosomes of pups and dams.
