Abstract
2-(9-Anthryl)-2-hydroxyacetic acid enantiomers were for the first time separated by capillary electrophoresis using hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin as chiral selector.The effects of the type and the concenˉtration ofβ-cyclodextrins,the background electrolyte and its pH on resolution were investigated.Agood sepaˉration of2-(9-Anthryl)-2-hydroxyacetic acid was achieved by using20mmol/L Tris-H 3 PO 4(pH6.0)conˉtaining15mmol/L hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin.The baseline separation of2-(9-anthryl)-2-hydroxyˉacetic acid enantiomers was achieved with a resolution factor of1.58.
