Abstract
To actually 4100 diesel engines as the research object,analysis into the EGR on the high density-low temperature diesel combustion and performance using FIRE.The results show that EGR effectively reduces the NOx emissions at the same time engine FSN rises to a certain extent.The increase of the EGR rate brings negative impacts to engine power,fuel economization and FSN emission,furthermore,as a result of drop of both the maximum explosive pressure and the peak value of the heat release rate.
