Abstract
The biological activities associated with 5-phenyl-3-(Trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazole, the synthesis, spectro- scopic identification and antibacterial activity of 5-phenyl-3-(Trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazole analogues (4a-4l) were obtained from substituted aromaticaldehyde, tosylhydrazine with 2-bromo-3,3,3-trifluoro prop-1-ene in the presence of in alcoholic medium using DABCO as a catalyst. The title compounds were evaluated by spectroscopic techniques such as 1HNMR, 13CNMR, LCMS and elemental analysis. The tested compounds were examined for antibacterial activity against gram positive and gram negative bacterial strains.
