Abstract
Abstract Disodium-oxidovanadium(IV) disulfate, a new and interesting battery electrode material, is prepared by a new very simple, and easy synthetic procedure. Its infrared and Raman spectra were recorded and discussed on the basis of their structural peculiarities with the aid of a factor group analysis of the internal vibrations of the sulfate groups of the compound. The spectra appear strongly dominated by correlation field effects.
