Abstract
Abstract The molecular structure of cis -sulfanuric fluoride was determined in the solid state by low temperature X-ray crystallography and in the gas-phase by electron diffraction. The results of both structure investigations are in close agreement. The six-membered sulfur—nitrogen ring is slightly puckered with NSNS dihedral angles of 34.5 (10)° (crystal) and 24.5 (48)° (gas) and S N bond lengths of 1.553(3) A (crystal) and 1.551(6) A (gas).
