Abstract
Abstract A series of novel 2-(5-bromo-2-chloro-pyrimidin-4-ylsulfanyl)-4-methoxy-phenylamine derivatives were synthesized by the reaction of 2-(5-bromo-2-chloro-pyrimidin-4-ylsulfanyl)-4-methoxy-phenylamine with various sulfonyl chlorides, and their in vitro antimicrobial activity was evaluated. The synthesized compounds were characterized by elemental analyses, FT-IR, 1 H NMR and LC–MS spectral studies.
