Abstract
The synthesis process of 2,4-di-tert-butylphenol was studied in a tubular consecution fluid bed reactor and a fixed bed reactor respectively, while isobutylene was used as alkylating agent and strong acidity positive ion exchange resin as catalyst. The result demonstrated that the reaction can be gone on successfully under a placid condition ,while using a fluid bed reactor connecting a fixed bed reactor. The conversion ratio of phenol was≥99.0%, and the yield of 2,4-di-tert-butylphenol was ≥64%. The result was better than that of using fluid bed reactor separately.
