Abstract
OBJECTIVE To synthesis a new compound of tetra-trifluoroethoxy substituted metal-free phthalocyaninate(H2PcF) and study its spectral properties.METHODS Firstly,4-(trifluoroethoxy) phthalonitrile was synthesized by using 4-nitrophthalonitrile and 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol as starting materials by nucleophilic substitution.Then,H2PcF was synthesized based on the precursor of 4-(trifluoroethoxy) phthalonitrile and characterized by melting point,IR,MS and elemental analysis.Its UV spectrum and fluorescence spectrum were also studied.RESULTS The yield of H2PcF was 34.7%,it exhibited intense absorption in the visible region spectrum,mainly in the phototherapeutic window(600-800 nm) and strong fluorescence wih high fluorescence quantum yield(φF=0.29).CONCLUSION H2PcF has shown potential application in photoelectric material or phototherapy filed due to its good solubility and spectral properties.
